What does it cost to rent an LED video screen?

A
Pricing varies based on product, location, and availability. For those reasons, we do not list pricing online. However, you can get a very good estimate on our LED rental rates in our article: LED Video Wall Rental Pricing Revealed

What services are included with my LED rental?

A

A daily rental rate includes an LED technician onsite for the duration of your rental to setup, operate, and tear down the screen. Sound and power are also included in your rental rate. LED production, i.e. camera feeds are typically an additional charge, along with content creation.

What video or audio inputs does your production take?

A

Video inputs: HD-SDI, HDMI, DVI, Display Port, and VGA (16 by 9)
Audio inputs: XLR

Do you supply power?

A

All of our mobile units contain on-board generator power. For modular activations, we can supply power upon request. For indoor events, we will need shore power supplied to us. Indoor power requirements will be communicated to you during the planning stages.

Are your LED products weatherproof?

A

All of our outdoor products are 100% rainproof. They have maximum wind loads ranging from 35 all the way up to 65 mph. They are 100% visible under the brightest direct sunlight. Check out our resource on how weather affects the how weather affects the LED Display Experience!

Will sound be provided?

A

All of our mobile units contain on-board speakers. We can also provide sound with our modular video walls, just let us know in advance.

What pixel pitch do you use?

A

What can I display on the screen?

A

How do I create and deliver content?

A

We will work with your team of designers to ensure the content is optimize for our screen. We can also design slides for you. We require content to be sent to us several days prior to show-day to allow time for review. Your can learn everything you need to know on our LED content creation guide.

What is the on-site LED technician responsible for during a rental?

A

Our on-site LED technician will deliver our mobile LED trailer to your event venue. They will set up the screen up, make sure it has enough fuel in the generator for power and make sure the screen is operating properly during the duration of your event.
If you’re looping content or playing a movie, we can help with that too. If your event requires multiple content switches or a more complex production, we encourage you to hire a production company or dedicate someone on your team to be responsible for the run of show.

What is your smallest screen?

A

Our smallest screen is 12’x7′. We will not build a smaller screen because we only provide large display rental. If you want something smaller you can consider renting an outdoor TV.

What is your largest screen?

A

Our largest screen is our 2313, which is 23’ wide and 13’ tall.

Can I use power from the MAX to run other things?

A

Unfortunately no. Our generators are selected to power our LED system at maximum capacity, nothing more.

Do you provide sound?

A

We can provide two 1,000 watt speakers upon request. They are loud enough for small to medium-sized crowds. However we suggest that you hire a dedicated audio company for advanced audio needs.

How high can your screens go?

A

Our mobile screens have adjustable height with the following maximum heights: Our 12’x7′ can be raised 8′ (bottom of screen to ground), our 15’x8′ mobile screen can be raised 12′, and our modular screens can be ground supported or “flown” to various heights.

What are the footprints of your screens?

A

12’x7′ mobile screen: 16x8x9 (ft. LxWxH), 15’x8′ mobile screen 20x10x13, modular – varying.

Do your screens rotate?

A

All of our mobile screens rotate 360 degrees. Want to adjust the angle mid-event? No problem. Modular screens will not rotate however.

How bright do your screens get?

A

Our outdoor screens have a minimum of 5,500 nits which is bright enough to be seen clearly under direct sunlight. Indoor screens range from 1,000 to 1,500 nits.

What happens to LED in heavy weather?

A

Our outdoor screens are IP65 outdoor rated and withstand heavy rain and wind. Rest assured that our screens will continue unfazed in mild to moderate inclement weather.

What tech specs do your need the LED files in?

A

For standard 16:9 screens, please send your files at 1920x1080p. Format for video is compressed .mp4 and .jpeg for stills. More design information can be found here.

How do I send you the LED files?

A

Please email us a download link via a cloud storage service such as Dropbox, Box, Google Drive, or WeTransfer, 5 business days prior to show-day.

Can you provide content via flash drive?

A

Yes. Send us the bulk of your content in advance, but if some last minute stragglers want their advertisement put onto the video wall we can add those files. *Files must be provided at the proper completed specifications.

How do I sell sponsorships?

A

We are more than happy to provide assets to help you sell LED advertising sponsorship slots – whether you need event-specific images, hi-res print images, etc. Also check out our article How to Increase Sponsorship Revenue with Digital Signage.

How do I incorporate advertising onto the screen?

A

There are three main ways to incorporate sponsor ads into your run of show – full-screen alternating, split screen, and logo overlays. The second two have the added advantage of simultaneous advertising and entertainment.

How do I engage the crowd with my LED product?

A

Interactive displays tend to be the biggest hit. Exciting content examples include social media streams, camera feeds, selfie cams, text-to-screen, and live messaging. Our team of professionals would love to offer you catered advice on how to engage your event attendees.

Does the screen detach from your LED trailers?

A

Our screen is permanently constructed onto the trailer. If you are concerned about the aesthetic appeal of having a trailer onsite there are a number of ways it can be covered, including piping/draping and fencing.

If I am providing my own power, what are the requirements?

A

A mobile LED screen is a video wall that is pre-fabricated onto a set of wheels. Benefits include speedy setup and lower rental price tag.

What does pixel pitch mean?

A

Pixel pitch is a measurement of pixel density. The lower the number (i.e. p6 or p10), the higher the relative resolution. So a lower pixel pitch is better than a higher one. See our resource on pixel pitch here!

Are your mobile screens in HD?

Does my screen need to be HD?
In short, no.
The term “HD” (high definition) is a term developed as a measurement for monitors and TV’s, which have much higher pixel densities and closer viewing distances than large outdoor video walls
Since video walls are for far away viewing distances, they will appear clearer at lower resolutions than if you were looking at the same resolution on your computer monitor.
All of our products contain some of the highest video wall resolutions that you will find on the market. For those looking for an HD viewing experience, we suggest our MAX 1710 4.81mm (1040x624p) or larger at a viewing distance of 50 ft or greater.

What is a 16:9 aspect ratio?

A

An aspect ratio is calculated as simplified units of width to simplified units of height or W/H:1. 16:9 (1.78:1) is the standard aspect ratio of video and film. To make sure your screen is

What are nits?

A

Nits is a measurement of LED screen brightness. The higher the number the better, outdoor LED requires 4,000+ nits.

What is an IP rating?

A

IP, or ingress protection rating refers to an LED product’s resistance to nature’s elements. The higher the number the better.

How do I host a tailgate in 2022?

A

Things have changed this year amidst the global pandemic. Large crowds and public gatherings are a thing of the past. However, that doesn’t mean you can’t still host your tailgate this year.
We are offering drive-in displays as an alternative this year to allow for adequate social distancing.

How do I display the game?

A

If available, we ask that you send us the game feed from your in-house cable box via coaxial cable. If that is not an option, we can also stream the programming via WIFI or onboard satellite dish. We recommend displaying the game in 16 9 ratio.
