How to Estimate the Rental Price of Any LED Display
Now that you are past the sticker shock, here is how to roughly estimate the daily rental rate of any LED display screen. A good rule of thumb when determining a ballpark LED rental rate is to figure $150 per LED panel. LED video walls are composed of individual LED panels, approximately 2 ft by 2 ft. Learn more at our LED Academy For example, if you want to estimate the rental cost of a 16 ft wide by 10 ft high video wall, you would take:
16/2 = 8 panels wide
10/2 = 5 panels high
8 panels wide x 5 panels high = 40 total panels
40 total panels x $150 per panel = $6,000 daily rental rate
A daily rental rate typically includes all associated fees – power, setup, tear-down, and operation. However, with modular LED (that is, LED screens built out on-site and not prefabricated onto a vehicle), there will likely be additional charges due to the increased amount of labor, equipment, and personnel for setup.
